Week 2 Reading Overview

After looking through the reading overview and discovering what topics we will be reading about this semester, there are some that I am looking forward to more than others. I think the top three topics that I am most interested in include the Ancient Greece unit, Ancient Rome unit, and the Hero Tales from the British Celtic Unit. I really enjoy learning about Roman history as I took a class called Italian Renaissance Architecture a year ago, and loved learning about how some of the most incredible buildings in all of Italy were inspired by many different epics and ancient heroes. I'm very excited to be using the different sources on UnTextbook and the FreeBookapalooza site to learn about these different stories.

  1. Hi Randy! I saw you were in a rush to do this; when you get a chance this weekend, come back around and find the specific units you want to do (which ancient Greek unit? etc.) ... there's a chart in the instructions you can copy and paste into the blog post and use. You don't need to do that today, but just make sure you do that this weekend so that you'll have something specific in mind when it's time to start the reading for Week 3 and for the weeks after that. :-)
