I was born in downtown Kansas City in 1997, and have lived in a suburb of the city for my entire life. This city has grown so much over the last two decades and is now booming with restaurants, night life, and event centers. One thing this city is famous for is the barbecue, and when anyone tells me that they are either taking a trip to or just driving through KC, I always tell them to make sure to stop by and get some of the best barbecue that can be found in the country.

Every Summer for the last three years I have had the opportunity to visit Aliso Viejo, California with my fiancée to visit her grandmother who lives there. During our trips, we always take a day or two to visit the beach and the shops along the Laguna Beach strip. The food, views, and weather in Laguna Beach are some of the best in the area.

  1. Oh, you are not the only Kansas City fan so far, Randy; Daniel in Indian Epics is also a Kansas City fan! Kansas City and Arezzo: My Favorite Places... but of course Kansas City does not have a beach, so how great that you have an excuse to go to Aliso Viejo: it looks lovely!
